Foxglove sleeps six with a twin bedded room, a double room and a substantial pull down double bed in the lounge. There is a very well equipped kitchen, a dining and lounge area on the ground floor, whilst upstairs 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower (a hairdrier is available for your use) and a separate toilet. New bedroom furniture is to be installed in Jan 2009.

Outside there is plenty of space to run around with a picnic bench and bbq for general use. You will love the indoor heated swimming pool. Be careful as it does get deep very quickly and children should be supervised at all times. There are changing facilities, a sauna and a shower.

Stancombe went digital in May 2009 and there is a new TV complete with an Ipod dock. In addition new for the summer 2009 is a broadband internet connection.

Budding Wimbledon stars will enjoy the newly resurfaced tennis court and Tiger Woods would enjoy practicing on the 8 hole pitch n’ putt. There are clubs and putters to borrow from just outside the pool. We have left a range of rackets and balls for visitors’ use in the porch.

Adults will appreciate the full size snooker table whilst there is a table tennis table and a games room to be enjoyed by all, together with a children’s play area. Table tennis bats and balls are available for you.

Or simply relax in the cottage, reading and listening to music. There are lots of information leaflets to tell you about interesting things to do in the area and places to visit.

If you find a book which you are still enjoying at the end of your stay from our bookshelf, don’t hurry. Please feel free to take it home with you. We are avid readers and always have more paperbacks than space to house them.
